About Ms. Lajeunesse

From the young age of five years old when I was in Kindergarten at John Muir Elementary I knew I wanted to become a teacher. It was my dream job! Fast forward twenty years and here I am living my dream at the wonderful school of Journey Middle where I was once a student myself. I was born and raised in Sooke, B.C. and love the small hometown feel and the beautiful ocean breeze. I have been teaching now for two years, one year of which I spent teaching the little Aussie children in Melbourne, Australia. I do miss their accents but feel right back at home here in Sooke with all my friends and family. Middle school is my favourite age to teach and I am so thrilled to be filling in for Mrs. Bridal while she is away!
